    Lyric’s Champs

    Lyric’s Champs is a Somerville based nonprofit organization that supports the autism and special education community. Through fundraising, we provide Lyric’s Champs Skating Club- a learn to skate program for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Lyric’s Champs provides one-on-one skating instruction in a sensory friendly environment.     Second Chances

    Second Chances puts donated clothing to work for our community, diverting clothing, shoes, and accessories from local landfills while helping our neighbors in need take their first steps toward brighter futures. Every year, Second Chances provides free, esteem-building clothing, shoes, accessories, and gift cards to hundreds of homeless and lower-income Somerville and Cambridge residents while keeping more than 200,000 pounds of textiles out of landfills.     The Boys & Girls Clubs of Medford and Somerville (BGCMS) serves nearly 400 youth annually in high-quality and affordable after-school programs for children and teens ages 6 to 18. Our Somerville Boys & Girls Club is located at the Arthur D. Healey School and serves 115 Somerville youth with programs such as academic support, career exploration, the arts, sports, fitness, recreation, leadership development, and healthy lifestyles.
